The Butterfly Sanctuary organisation has also been identified by the IOM & UNICEF project to be incubated in matters of social accountability, governance, and youth programming.
EU, UNICEF, and IOM Youth Empowerment and Participation through Support for Youth-Led Grassroots Organisations will focus on empowering young people as key players in governance and development at both local and national levels.
The Youth Power Hub will actively involve young people in decision-making to strengthen citizen participation and build stronger, more inclusive communities.
The Youth Power Hub aims to reach 69,000 young people, including:
- Adolescent girls
- Young women and mothers
- Youth living with disability
- Young migrants
- Youth from LGBTIQ+ communities
- Youth in the diaspora
- Rural youth
- Herd boys
- Street youth
- Youth living with HIV/AIDS
The project will be driven by a team of young professionals who will be actively engaged in its execution. The following youthful staff will lead its implementation.

Reabetsoe Khele – Legal and administrative staff – who will lead the project implementation on behalf of the Butterfly Sanctuary Organsiation.
Qualification
Holds an LLB Degree, with experience in issues around protection and Human Rights. She has been involved in policy and research issues while supporting consulting firms and Community based organizations in Program Development and design.

Mahali Nkhabu – Social Accountability Trainer
Qualification
She has 3 years experience in social accountability working with Skillshare international as a youth volunteer.

Tlhokomelo Sekhonyana- Finance, Financial Literacy and Inclusion Officer
Qualification
Has expertise in financial management, promoting financial education, and fostering inclusive economic opportunities. Adept at developing and implementing financial literacy programs, advising individuals and communities on sound financial practices, and ensuring equitable access to financial services.

Kananelo Wanda Musafiri- Community and Youth Groups Trainer
Qualification
Skilled in creating educational content that promotes personal development, leadership, and social responsibility. Proven ability to engage diverse groups, foster collaboration, and build confidence through interactive training methods.

Lieketseng Mosola- Youth Mobiliser at Community Level
Qualification
A proactive and compassionate Youth Mobilizer with experience in engaging and empowering young people at the community level.
